ABOUT THIS JOB
Supports sales efforts for a solution or solutions (RMO, ASO, In-store Execution) within the Sales Effectiveness (SEFF) practice and is accountable to execute against the commercial plan. Key priorities include:RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports full sales cycle: expanding business with the existing client portfolio (selling new / renewing existing contract), proactively identifying sales opportunities based on client strategic priorities and networking in close alignment with CBPs
- Close collaboration with Delivery COE team to drive seamless delivery to clients.
- Support customized or complex studies analysis in order to guarantee the best in class delivery to the clients. Contributes to highly customized projects. Support, and lead if required. methodological meetings with Clients in order to support CBPs, Service Leaders and Client Facing team
Earning Client Trust/Building RelationshipsUnderstanding Client Needs
- Build and maintain strong network with key players & Sales personas across a broad base of client targets.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the CPG and Retail industry and Nielsen portfolio, understanding how trade and business needs are changing and how Nielsen solutions can help solve client business issues.
- Responsible for developing case studies & client testimonials.
Sales Management
- Has a deep understanding of needs of different persona's at the client end and customer business around (pricing , assortment , distribution and execution) and can reframe and challenge the way customers view their businesses
- Leads final presentation of results to ensure client satisfaction, actionable recommendations and additional opportunity detection
Planning and Forecasting
- Delivering against sales targets and participates in negotiations senior clients and understands what levers to use. Clearly links the value of Nielsen's SEFF products and solutions with the price to overcome objections.
Team Management and Collaboration
- Sound understanding of profitability and EBITDA and how this relates to all proposals and sales. Knows how Nielsen and competitor SEFF offerings are priced and are aware of the client budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Works continuously with SEFF Leader, CBPs, Commercial Leaders, PL, Delivery COE team to ensure that leads and opportunities are picked up, pertinent information about clients is shared and the relevant people are consulted and/or informed of key activity on an account.
ABOUT NIELSEN
- 1,5 - 3 years of experience in CPG Sales (Trade Marketing, Retailer - Key Account, Merchandising) or Analytics (modeling)
- Knowledge in sales processes in CPG companies, customers, modern and traditional markets.
- Digital knowledge, Salesforce
- Excellent business English (+ knowledge of Czech good to have), both verbal and written
- Proven sales acumen
- Strong analytical skills - knowing how to read a data
