The Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing the Czech and Slovak market for our leading Thermo Fisher Scientific ImmunoDiagnostics product portfolio. You will identify, build and maintain a network of key opinion leaders and other relevant stakeholders in the field of Allergy and Autoimmunity research and diagnostics to ensure strong advocacy, support and engagement by KOL management and mobilization strategy. With your in-depth knowledge of the market and by planning and deploying an excellent Marketing strategy and adapting European and global Marketing campaigns to the local market in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia you will position Phadia as the gold standard in Allergy diagnostics and the leading partner setting the bar in Autoimmunity diagnostics. In close cooperation with Sales, Service and other internal stakeholders you will develop a strategy to grow our business in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia and achieve sales targets and performance objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds strong and mutually beneficial relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the field of Allergy and Autoimmunity diagnostics on a local and national level
  • Supports KOLs, coordinates expert meetings, seminars and symposia. Ensures all speaker / engagement payments are disclosed in line with company and MedTech Europe code of conduct requirements
  • Demonstrates specialist product and disease area knowledge and leverages this to build professional customer and KOL relationships and organize and/or support sound medical/clinical educational workshops
  • Visits all relevant national and international exhibitions, congresses and seminars incl. EASI meetings
  • Builds strong and mutually beneficial relationships with patient organizations and other relevant stakeholders in the field of Allergy and Autoimmunity
  • Proactively identifies needs of KOLs, customers and other external stakeholders and appropriately brings in other customer-facing or specialist roles as necessary
  • Develops and executes strategy for our market leading product portfolio in Allergy and AutoImmunity Diagnostics for the Czech and Slovak markets in cooperation with all relevant internal stakeholders
  • Develops, adapts and deploys Marketing and Sales promotional materials and educational programs
  • Proactively maintains up to date knowledge of products and therapy areas
  • Provide health economic evidence in local market, including support for reimbursement and guidelines development and/or implementation
  • Provides all relevant internal stakeholders with accurate and timely data and market reports. Coordinates follow up actions with Sales against time scales
  • Represents the company in a professional manner with adherence to the company policies
  • Contributes to budget planning process in cooperation with Sales, Service and cluster management
  • Supports Sales and Sales Administration in tender processes
  • Trains and supports local salesforce
  • Keeps daily records of customer contacts and shares relevant data with colleagues via CRM

Education Requirements:

  • University degree in Immunology, veterinary medicine, medicine or other relevant studies
  • 5+ years experience in the field of IVD

Required Qualifications:

  • Knows the Czech and Slovak Invitro Diagnostics Market and it’s key players
  • Experience in Key Opinion Leader Management
  • Demonstrated excellent networking skills and an open and communicative personality
  • Is familiar with Allergy and/or AutoImmunity Diagnostics
  • Strategic vision and analytical and solution driven mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, to take initiative, be resourceful, as well as demonstrated success in collaborating with colleagues.
  • The ability to be flexible, open-minded, and adapt successfully to changing business conditions
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency under pressure and a drive for results.
  • Works effectively within a complex customer matrix
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities.
  • Czech or Slovak mother tongue and proficient in English
  • Ready to travel approx. 50% of time
