Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in information security or security assurance and compliance
  • Proven people management experience
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Strong knowledge of technology and security topics including network security, application security, infrastructure hardening and security baselines, web server, and database security
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards regarding vulnerability management including Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) and Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS)
  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements (i.e., PCI, ISO, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Familiarity with tools like Qualys, Elasticsearch, Jira, Confluence
  • Recognized industry certification and/or continuing education programs are a major plus including CISSP, CEH, Security+
Job Description:
As part of Oracle+NetSuite’s Security Team, the Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and leading the work of security analysts related to vulnerability and threat risk management, including identification, remediation, mitigation, negotiation, reporting/presentation of status and results (both written and verbal).
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
  • Oversee delivery of vulnerability management activities and provide status updates to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Influence and align with key stakeholders on priorities, identify key roadblocks, and work with the team to keep things moving forward
  • Feel comfortable voicing their own opinion while negotiating with key stakeholders
  • Develop and report on vulnerability metrics and KPIs on a regular basis
  • Partner with stakeholders to streamline, standardize and mature vulnerability management program and tooling
  • Coach, mentor and develop staff using a performance management process including goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning
  • Be flexible working with overseas teams during off-hours.

Leads a small team maintaining and/or implementing software project(s) or support system(s). Defines, documents and manages scope and manage daily activities of staff..
Coordinates the daily activities of a work group, setting priorities to ensure task completion. Provides technical/functional leadership as well as first line supervision, but does not have hire/fire authority. Interacts daily with staff and/or functional peer groups in the presentation of factual information. Good knowledge of the relevant applications area important. BA/BS degree preferred.
